Congratulations to those parents that took home the Rebel Sports gift vouchers as prizes in the Parent Races last Saturday. We hope that not too many of the mums and dads were sore after the some of the courageous and competitive performances that we witnessed!

A fun time was had by all at the Hawaiian Christmas Party that followed and Santa did not fail to please. Stay tuned for photos from the day/evening that will be posted on this site in the coming weeks...

NEW YEARS EVE will be celebrated at the South Narrabeen clubhouse with a BBQ and drinks from 4pm. BYO food or meat to BBQ. The Presidents Bar will be open with cheap drinks, or bring your own festive beverages. Spend the evening with friends, watch the fireworks and see the New Year in...

Nippers resumes on Sunday the 8th January, with the Narrabeen Nippers Carnival being held the following Sunday the 15th. We will be asking for registrations for this carnival on the first week back, it is a good one to attend as it is generally well organised and is close to home. Something to think about over the break.

The annual Nippers Christmas Party is on at the clubhouse this Saturday night. Doors open at 6pm....

 Things are back to normal this week at South Narra with another week of the Handicap Competition on the agenda.

Congratulations to all the competitors who attended the carnival at Queenscliff last Sunday. Despite the wind and rain our kids achieved some impressive results.

Board Training for proficient under 8's and above is on as normal with Troy and Grant at 8.15am at the club. Any changes to this due to the weather will be communicated via email on Saturday night.

Our annual Hawaiian Christmas Party will be on Saturday 17th December at 6pm, following the Twilight Nippers session and Parent Race Events, which will be on at 3pm. Karen and Silvana will be selling tickets for the Christmas Party this Sunday, so we can accurately cater for the party. Tickets are $7.50 which includes dinner. They will also be available on the door on the night. Don't forget that Santa is coming, so parents need to sort out a small present with him. Details of where to leave these will follow next week.

The second of the season's Nippers Carnivals for Under 8's and above is on this weekend at Queenscliff. If your child would like to attend it is not too late, but you must register them with Richard by 8pm Wednesday (30th Nov). His email is: dowling.richard@gmail.com

We desperately need just TWO more parents to volunteer to mann the BBQ for a couple of hours on Saturday 10th December at Bunnings. This is a big fundraiser for the club and we will lose the opportunity if we do not find another 2 people. Contact Sue at: suecheetham@optusnet.com.au for more details.

Nippers is on as normal at the club this Sunday for Under 6's and Under 7's. Any older kids who would like to attend are welcome to do so, depending on numbers we will run some informal all age competition. Points will not be awarded this week, for attendance or performance for U8's and above.

There will be no board training this Sunday.

Coming Up....Santa is coming to South Narra Nippers, on Saturday 17th December at 6pm, following Twilight Nippers at 3pm. Get your Hawaiian costumes ready for our Christmas Party!

Santa and his reindeer will visit two Northern Beaches family Hotels. See them and support our sponsors. They will be at: The Belrose Hotel on Saturday 3rd Dec from 5 to 8pm and at the Newport Arms Hotel on Friday 9th and 16th Dec from 5 to 8pm. Children will be able to pat real reindeer including some new baby bambies. Don't forget your camera.

New Year's Celebrations at the Surf Club. We will be having a party at the Surf Club for the New Year. Stay tuned for details.
